She has been a member of the Professional Writers' Association of Canada since 2003 and has been published in several newspapers and magazines including Cottage Magazine, The Chronicle Herald, The Cape Breton Post and The Powell River Peak. Chrissy lives in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, with her husband and two Siberian Huskies, Max and Molly. When she's not writing, Chrissy loves to practice yoga, read, walk her dogs and keep in touch with her two children who have left the nest.
